Y is YY?

A multidisciplinary thinker with a background in psychology and product design, driven by a constant curiosity about people and how they move through the systems around them. There is a tendency to notice when people are not understood, especially in spaces that prioritise efficiency over emotion, and a desire to question how things could feel more human.

Design is approached as a way of making sense of these gaps. More than a function, it becomes a way to tell stories that people can see themselves in. The belief is that good design connects not just through usability but through meaning, shaping how people feel and experience the world around them.

The approach is both analytical and reflective, grounded in research but shaped by observation and lived experience. There is an interest in designing across different contexts and for different groups, with the intention of creating work that feels considered, inclusive, and real.

Positive Psychology

  • Centres on motivation, well-being, and human flourishing. Informs the design of engaging and meaningful user experiences that promote positive user outcomes.
